Koch is partnering with Sema4.ai, a Koch Disruptive Technologies portfolio company, to implement companywide level agentic artificial intelligence designed to automate complex tasks, streamline operations and deliver mutual benefit across both organizations.
Why it matters: Manual reconciliation and business processes are traditionally time-consuming, error-prone and resource-intensive. Sema4.ai’s enterprise AI agents seamlessly integrate into existing processes and automate entire workflows — reducing costs and strengthening controls.

How it works: Sema4 AI agents are capable of understanding business context, reasoning and collaborating with human teams to increase productivity without the need for individual prompts or instructions. In one use case, the agents will parse invoices for a Koch company by processing hundreds of pages, line by line. Using the deep understanding it has gained from the review, it can then integrate with existing enterprise financial data to complete the reconciliation process.
The big picture: The collaboration with Koch will also extend to other critical business operations, including work order creation, manufacturing sensor tag creation, maintenance scheduling, procurement analysis and document understanding.
