3 min read

WICHITA, KANSAS – Koch Industries has been recognized in Springbuk’s 2023 list of the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America, an awards program created to recognize people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employees. This is the second time Koch Industries has received this recognition; the company was also included in the Healthiest 100 Workplaces list for 2022.

As the workplace has undergone considerable change in recent years, benefits like increased flexibility, work-life balance and mental health resources have proven to be common trends among Healthiest Employer honorees. Koch was recognized for its commitment to workplace wellness and its health and benefits offerings. These offerings include benefits to employees like onsite health screenings, access to virtual care, diabetes and weight management resources, surgery support, mental health services and more.

“The health and wellness of our people is important to us,” said Griffin Reynolds, wellness program manager with Koch Industries, “because when our people thrive, we all thrive. Being recognized as one of the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America is incredibly rewarding because it shows the effort we’ve made to provide access to so many different wellness resources is helping our employees and family members live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives.”

Companies included in this year’s list participated in the Healthiest Employers application process. The categories, scoring and benchmarking for this program were formed with the help of a national, non-biased group of representatives from the academic, medical, wellness and business communities.

The assessment for this program was scored using a rubric-style, 1-100 scale and focused on six categories, including Culture and Leadership Commitment, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communications and Marketing, Programming and Interventions, and Reporting and Analytics.
