Koch wins "Wichita's Best Place to Work" for 3rd year in a row.
For the third consecutive year, Koch is honored to be named “Wichita’s Best Place to Work,” a reflection of our deep connection to the city we call home. Since our founding here in 1940, Wichita has been integral to our identity and growth. The city’s dedicated, hardworking population provides Koch with a talented workforce, while Wichita’s vibrant cultural scene – from its rich arts and entertainment offerings to its innovative entrepreneurial spirit – enhances the lives of Koch employees and their families.
Koch’s passion for Wichita is rooted in more than just business – it’s part of who we are. Just as we empower our employees to grow, thrive and reach their full potential, we’re equally passionate about doing the same for the broader Wichita community. Whether through supporting educational initiatives, the arts, innovation, community development or opportunities to volunteer, we actively partner with businesses and organizations to make Wichita a better place for all. Here are some of the ways Koch helps create opportunities for people in Wichita to maximize their potential.
Encouraging Involvement
Koch and many of its employees donate time, supplies and funds during Koch’s “Season of Giving,” which supports the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program and Simply Hygiene’s products drive.
Strengthening The Community
Koch supports Empower, a nonprofit resource in Wichita’s North End community, which provides education, workforce-readiness and small business development resources to empower everyone to reach their potential.
Empowering Education
Various foundations of Koch family members and Koch have contributed more than $2 million to the Philips Fundamental Learning Center, which empowers children to reach their full potential by teaching them to read, write and spell.
Inspiring Innovation
GoCreate is a creative community workspace offering sophisticated tools and equipment, expert training and a supportive community that can help make prototypes, projects and dreams come true. Koch and the Koch Family Foundation have donated $5.25 million to provide membership and training assistance to qualifying applicants and support for mentor fellowships.
Elevating The Arts
Koch supports the Koch Family Foundation that established the Koch Cultural Trust (KCT). KCT creates opportunity for the most promising painters, sculptors, musicians, dancers and performing artists in Kansas.
